rare document and video of pakistan's surrender

free tibet

To safeguard Tibetan culture and Buddhist way of life, Tibetans have been forced by china to move to different parts of globe. Tibet is a high plateau with an average height of around 16000 feet. The genocide of Tibetans was clearly charted and well planned by the subsequent communist governments of china. Tibetan people have lived in the high plateau also known as “roof of world” since thousands of years back .Tibetans are god fearing and non-violent people. The local Tibetans who were a majority till Dalai Lama’s escape to India in 1959 have been reduced to a minority and people of Han Chinese origin have become a majority population with the help of PRC (People’s Republic of china)
Tibet, china, Mongolia and Indian sub-continent have shared a lot in terms of cultural exchange and religious ideologies. There have been times in history when Tibet had a greater control over china and vice-versa. The actual problem started when in 1911-1912 Tibet claimed full independence from china under Thirteenth Dalai Lama. The Chinese revolution of 1911 dethroned the last Manchurian emperor and subsequently religious bonding with Tibet was also snapped. And thereafter Tibet relied heavily on Dalai Lama for administrative and religious thoughts and philosophy and also British in India for support and protection. It continued to maintain neighborly goodwill and friendship with the people of China, but never acceded to the Chinese claim of suzerainty in 1914.British persuaded Tibet to sign treaty with china which was of nominal or non-interfering suzerainty (1914) and China was accorded the right to maintain a mission in Lhasa and at the same time it was forbidden to interfere in any of the internal affairs of Tibet. However that suzerainty was not enforced as Chinese did not sign the treaty. Tibet maintained its unique identity, independent and friendly relations with its neighboring countries including India. The real problem started when china became full fledged communist state and Tibetan Government broke off diplomatic relations with China and made a Chinese representative in Lhasa depart from Tibet in July, 1949 and Tibet cut off all relations with china and its communists. Since China was militarily more powerful than Tibet thus it agreed to negotiate on friendly terms with the Chinese Government. It sent a mission to negotiate with china but took longer time as it needed a British visa to transit through Hong Kong.
Indian govt.helped Tibetan mission to have negotiations with Chinese ambassador. Meanwhile Chinese troops without warning or provocation crossed Tibetan boundaries and quickly captured important places like Demar, Kamto, Tunga, Tshame, Rimochegotyu, Yakalo, and Markham.
The armed invasion of Tibet for the incorporation of Tibet in Communist China through sheer physical force is a clear case of aggression and violation of human rights. I personally have very deep feeling and support for people of Tibet and I support Tibetans for free Tibet. As all of us know China and Pakistan share a very close relation and Pakistan is heavily inclined towards china for military and strategic support .Pakistan did exactly what china did to Tibetans. Pakistan forced the Hindu population of Kashmir to migrate to different parts of globe by killing mercilessly. Kashmir has a total population of less than 10,000 Hindus which used to be 5lakh just 18 years back.
Coming back to Tibet, Tibetans have lost their motherland for the time being and I am somewhat puzzled by the Indian government’s reaction which is not as warm as it used to be. Is the coalition government of communists responsible for this? I have not yet heard any reactions from communists in India.
On my recent visit to majnu ka tila in Delhi which is at present home to many Tibetans, Things are somewhat different. One can clearly feel the tension and helplessness of Tibetans. With some difficulty I could get some words from a Tibetan women who sells T- shirts and jeans and she spoke in broken Hindi “China hamara dushman hai!” and again thought for some time may be 5-6 seconds and said “India hamara dost hai” her last question question was “Aap ko kya chahiyeh?”.After I left the place, I wondered how difficult it is for the Tibetans as tibetans are scattered are over world but somehow have managed their unique identity and culture.I also wondered the hardships faced by tibetans all over world as they have been uprooted from their motherland just as I was uprooted from Kashmir, at the same time I am quite impressed by tibetans for their beleif in self and their dream for beloved motherland—free Tibet.

mahadev at 11000feet above sea level

It was year August 1989. I was a boy that time. But I was very-2 much interested in adventures especially trekking and Swimming. Every year at Raksha Bandhan, Hindus from all over Kashmir used to visit various holy places especially places connecting to Lord Shiva, Like Amarnathji,Harsher,Sersher,Dhanshewar,Shankarayacharya temple-----.I along with my two close friends had decided to go to Mahadev. My elders had warned me that Journey to Mahadev is very tough, Tougher than Amarnathji. I had asked my parents permission to go to Mahadev,But I was simply scolded. My grandfather said”abhi tu bacha hai! 4-5 Saal ke baad soochna” But I was adamant and I along with my friends had already made up our mind. I told my parents that I am going to shankracharya temple for the night and they readily agreed and told me that I should come back next day before 10.00a.m
My friends Sanjay Bharti and his cousin Naveen Raina decided to meet on Aug 16 at the local bus stand. We all boarded a bus to a village known as Dara. This village is very near to famous Dachigaam national park.We took some snacks along with us…some biscuits and bread. After some one hour or so we felt very hungry and we ate everything which we had bought with us bread, biscuits and some sweets. We could not see a single person in our first 3 hours of ascend. After some 3 hours We met some people. My Muslim neighbor was also among them. His name was”Arif”I asked him “what are you doing here!”, He said” I had been to tarsar and marsar and I am in these mountains from last 4-5 days” Tarsar and Marsar are high altitude mountain lakes. They were a group of around 4-5 boys and they looked fully equipped with tents, haversacks, carry mats etc..etc.Later on after some years after this incident came to know that”Arif” had become a militant and then I realized that these boys had actually gone to mountains for arms training and to push militancy.
Any way we were enjoying our trekking and it took us almost six hours before we reached a place known as “leedwas”.This place is a small meadow with some 10-30 houses belonging to nomads known in kashmir as” Gujjars”. For these gujjars their lives revolve around their livestock.By the time we reached leedwas it was around 7.30-8.00p.m.We met some other Hindus also there. Total number of devotees was around 10-12 people. We were told normally every year at least hundreds of devotees used to come to Mahadev, But this year situations are somewhat different.(It was early stage of Militancy in Kashmir). As boys we could not understand politics and we had just came for trekking and to see something new. We had thought that we will be able to find something to eat once we reach leeedwas. But to our disappointment there was nothing as we had thought. Our fellow devotees were very kind and told us that they had bought some vegetables and rice with them. They also told us that since this year things are not normal and the people who used to look after the arrangements of devotees had not come this year so we have to somehow find a place where we can cook and sleep overnight. We three friends were the youngest among all the devotees. These devotees spoke to the “gujjars” and were able to get 2 kothas(house) from them.Gujjar “kotha” or gujjar house is a rectangular shaped single room and single storey house may be 15 yards long and 10 yards wide. Made of mud. It has a horizontal partition. front side of the partition is used as living, dining and bedroom and the back side is used by their livestock. This means both gujjars and their livestock share that one room or kotha. It was a bit uncomfortable sleeping in that kotha as there was hardly any decent flooring. They use deodar twigs as flooring .We spread one quilt on the flooring and one quilt to cover our bodies. While lying down for sleep, we could clearly see the shining eyes of their sheep and goats just above our heads. Somehow we slept and woke up at 4.00a.m next day.
As I said we were a group of 10-12 people and I think most of the devotees were first timers. An experienced and elderly person took the charge of leading the way further up to mahadev shrine. we were all walking in a line, walking and climbing the mountain very cautiously. We were following literally each other’s foot steps. After some 3 hours we reached a place, where we saw a huge rock. We were told that this rock has to be climbed without shoes as this is the sacred rock. This rock was right on the ridge of the mountain just above the famous dachigaam national park. That rock must be around 20 feet high, and its surface was very rough and it was almost piercing our feet. On the other side of the rock was the holy and famous mahadev. It is not a normal shiv linga, but it is naturally formed on the surface of the rock and it is Blackish in colour as compared to the rock with very-2 smooth surface, It is situated just above the ridge and below it is the wildlife sanctuary. Sun had risen by the time we reached the shrine and I must say that It was all very-2 beautiful, very scenic, and divine.
After having darshan we immediately started our journey back to leedwas. We reached leedwas in less than 2 hours. It was already 10.00a.m and I was worried as I was given a deadline to reach home back by 10.00a.m.
From leedwas,I with my friends Sanjay and navin hurriedly descended back. we were actually running and It took us another two and half hours to reach back to Village Dara.We could not find any transportation back to the Srinagar bus Stand as a “Hartal”
was called by the Muslim fundamentals in memory of 1st death anniversary of Pakistan Military Dictator Zia-ul-hak.Instead of waiting we started walking back to srinagar and after 2 hours we got a lift from the truck. That truck dropped us midway. It was another 3 kms. which I walked by foot to reach my home. I reached my home very much exhausted and tired by 5.00p.m.I don’t need to write how I was treated by my family. Obviously they were very annoyed and angry with me.
After some years I asked my grandfather again about Mahadev. He said”It is the toughest abode of lord shiva in srinagar,it is very-2 difficult”.
It is comparatively tougher than other places and It must be situated at least 11000 feet above sea level. I don’t know whether I will go back to Mahadev again ever, But the memories of this trip will remain very special to me and my friends.

hidden facts about kashmir

Facts you must know!!!
Last Year India celebrated its 60th year of Independence. What does Independence means to me and my friends! We were not born before 1947 so we can’t really say how much really India has changed. But still in some ways I can say yes! India has changed …for good or bad ….may be both….. Earlier it was congress (I) …and only congress (I) ….with very little opposition before 1947- till Pundit Nehru’s death... Almost all freedom fighters that fought for independence were from congress and the ideological guru was Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi was no doubt an extra-ordinary human being and he gave new meaning to non-violent ways of achieving objectives…
Majority of Kashmiri Muslims supported Pakistani support to militancy because they felt Pakistan is a Muslim country and they felt more inclined to their religion. They believed everything which Pakistan radio and Pakistan news reported. Once I asked my friend about the reason of successive defeats of Pakistan’s army by Indian Army? He replied”wo to America ne Pakistan to fuss bomb diye the,is liye Pakistan har gaye”Meaning U.S.A had sold fake bombs to Pakistan and that was the reason Pakistan lost. These guys believe they are fighting independence struggle.
Kashmiri pundits or kashmiri Hindu’s were targeted because of our religion and our strong feelings towards India. Most of the children of kashmiri Muslims of low income group were sent to madrassas instead of normal schooling and brought up by their parents in such a way that they grew up hating Hindus and Most of the people who took to arms in early nineties belonged to this section of society. The seeds of hatred sown by Muslim parents can be seen clearly in Kashmir. One such instance was a Muslim child may be of 3-4 years old .This child said to a kashmiri Hindu without any provocation ” Batta goye cancer” meaning “Kashmiri pundit! may you be infected with cancer” without any reason and His mother was also there with him and instead of teaching him, she just laughed hysterically as if she had won a gold medal.
At another instance, My drawing teacher whom we used to call “faroq sir” was once asked by my friend”parvez”…..”Sir! You have started aging. One of your hairs in beard has turned white” He replied prophetly….”Yeh iman ka Baal hai” Meaning this single white hair denotes divine sincerity.
“Nizam-e-mustafa” is like what we call”Ram-Rajya”.But as usual everyone believes that” my religion is the best and only my religion is true” It is mainly because of the ignorance about other religions, their teachings and their principles. Once I had an argument with my Muslim friend. He told me something which secretly every Muslim beleives. He said” Neil Armstrong had heard the voice of Allah when he was at moon and he later converted to Islam.” Another gossip which every Muslim believes is “Islam is the fastest growing religion in U.S.A” I don’t know their source of news and I don’t care as it is not actually the news, it is the faith which they want to believe in. Same is true with us Hindus also. But I must add here Hindus are much more tolerant than all the other religions. Because Hinduism is a way of living life in harmony with the nature. That is why we worship almost everything which follows circle of life and death; we worship Living and non-living because we believe that God is in everything. He is in life and death, in good and bad and we worship god in form as well as in formless.
Coming back to Kashmir issue, Pakistan has outscored India in Kashmir. Common Kashmiri Muslim look to Pakistan for instructions and emotional support .At the same time they look towards India for monetary support. India could not do much in Kashmir and they failed in all fields. Main reason for militancy in Kashmir was long support of Pakistan towards separatists of Kashmir. Routing of foreign militants from Afghanistan and other Muslim turbulent countries to Kashmir with the active support of Pakistan .The other main reason for deteriorating condition in Kashmir was inclination of national leaders towards Muslim leaders of Kashmir after the death of Mrs. Gandhi. In nut shell Indian leaders from center were misleaded by the Muslim leaders of Kashmir. At the time of Mrs. Gandhi, Things were better as she more head strong and politically more active and was in constant touch with the Hindu leaders of Jammu& Kashmir including Kashmiri pundits and Dogras.
You will find it very interesting that for any political party(except congress and BJP) to grow and sustain in Kashmir valley…..you have to follow one proved formulae-------Speak anti-India, act anti-India and make people of Kashmir believe that we will bring ”nizam-a-muztafa”.

Kashmiri pundits have seen it all and are victims of Minority vote bank politics of India.
I don’t know whether Muslims of India are living as second grade citizens of India or equal citizens, But in Kashmir, Kashmiri Hindus are living as second grade citizens because of our religion and Indian Nationality. exploitation can be seen very clearly Between Muslims and Hindus of Kashmir. As all of you know There is a property boom all over India. But in Kashmir valley there is boom only for Muslim properties. Properties of Hindus are underestimated because Muslims think that “yeh property to aaj bi hamari hai or kal be hamari hooni hai, kharidani ki zaroorat kya hai”and even If a Hindu property is bought, It will be usually half the prevailing market price. All this has happened and is happening in Kashmir and govt at center knows everything but they are helpless to solve this problem as they think about their minority vote bank and they don’t want these things to be known publicly as this tarnish their image and will create a threat to minorities of India.
My question is “when a member of majority religion is being treated this way…….which minority you are talking about?”
What will happen if Majority population of India behaves same way as Kashmiri Muslims behaved with Hindus of Kashmir?

hinduism and other religious

hinduism and religious controversies
There are four main religions of world namely Christianity,Islam,Hinduism and Budhism. The basic function of all the religions is to promote love, harmony,Self control,And brotherhood among different sections of people. In Hinduism there is a concept of Dualism (devaith) and non-dualism (advaith). Both are different ways of approaching god. Many people can not understand the beliefs and concepts of Hinduism. In Christianity and Islam, they have an idea of Satan. In bible it is written about An Angel whose name was Lucifer. He was one of the most beloved angel of god until one day he thought too much of himself and he became the Satan. Any person who thinks too much of himself become as bad as Satan. In Islam also there is this concept of Satan. All bad things and deeds are believed to be work of Satan. In both Christianity and Islam, It is believed that constant remembrance of god or Allah keeps Satan away.In Hinduism however there is no concept of Satan. Instead we have Maya or shiv maya or yog maya .It is believed that maya keeps us away from Paramatma. But contrary to the beliefs of Christians and Muslims we respect and even worship maya.Maya is seen as force which gives birth and death. It is seen as a force which keeps us attached to each other and to worldly objects. It is believed constant remembrance of lord and by Lord’s grace only one can overcome maya.Constant remembrance of god or Allah keeps Satan away and by Constant remembrance of supreme lord one can overcome Maya. So there is something common between religions. Only names change. In Hinduism there are some 33 crore devi’s and devta’s.Non Hindus get confused by this concept, but there is logic and that logic is god himself..because god is everywhere and in everything— in good and in bad. Everything is god for a devout hindu.Tree,animals,snakes….almost everything which has life. Because the life force in all the livings beings is one—call him god,Allah,Paramatma—-And Hindus worship that life force which is in everything. In Devaith philosophy, more emphasis is laid on bhakti or devotion. It also says that one can not really love something which is not visible to eyes.or something that you cannot feel by your five senses. For example you don’t have any feeling for someone whom you have not seen. It is like asking someone” how much love and feeling you have for your great-great-2 grand father who died some 100 years back when you were not even born.”A true devotee of bhakti system is not even satisfied with heaven and they say that in heaven also one is attached to the five senses and these five senses are the five horses of Maya. They want to transcend even heaven. They want to be in eternal love with their beloved lord.In advaith there is absolute one and oneness and Kashmir shaivism is a part of advaith shaivism.Meditation is a form of advaith worship. Kashmir shaivism says we are all part of Shiva. we are Shiva but we have been subjected to Maya shakti and overcoming Maya shakti is key to spiritual liberation. The goal of life is to realize one’s true self. Kashmir shaivism does not consider anything to be good or bad but instead as only being part of the ongoing creative activity of that pure infinite consciousness.”Na papam na punyam na dukham na sukham shivoham, shivoham, shivoham, shivoham” means that there is no good and no bad, There is no sorrow and no pleasure.Ther is only Shiva and he is in me. he is me.It is believed that sensual pleasures are the root cause of any sin. There is also concept of wheel of life and death where one is born and one dies and this cycle will go on till one realizes god and god can only be realized when we reign our senses….when one transcends maya…..the force which rides on our five senses. Refining or reigning of senses gives rise to pure thoughts and pure thoughts give rise to Bhakti(devotion towards lord) or love and by this divine love one can realize one’s true nature. There are laws for everything. Good deeds will yield good results and bad deeds will yield bad results. With good deeds one can realize god in a very short span of time (one lifetime). With bad deeds one gets drifted away from god or true nature and may take many more lifes to become good and eventually realize god.Well be it Islam,Christianity or Hinduism…..The basic purpose remains same…..Realization of self and realization of god.

kashmir blogs

Eighteen years have passed since Kashmiri pundits migrated to different parts of India and leaving Kashmir. Last year one of my friends went to hari parbat. While coming back he saw small children playing. He spoke to them in Kashmiri asking them their names but instead of answering their names they looked back to my friend with a surprise. They ran away and said to each other”yem hai koshur boolan” meaning they are speaking Kashmiri. Well eighteen years is a long time and the new generation (Muslims) who were born in Kashmir and kashmiris who were born outside Kashmir (Hindus) have no idea about each other. Religions have created a very deep rift among the Hindus and Muslims of Kashmir. When Muslims started jihad against India 18 years back, they were sure that they will get azadi(freedom) very soon and they also believed Pakistan will help them. On the other part kashmiris pundits were also very sure that in hour of crisis India will help them. Well today kashmiris-both Hindus and Muslims know India and Pakistan are not really interested in them. But they are interested in Kashmir-Both want Kashmir and nobody is bothered about kashmiri people. India and Pakistan have started talking about Kashmir under pressure from U.S.A. Interesting part is kashmiri Hindu and kashmiri Muslims leaders are not involved. I don’t know how are they going to resolve this problem without taking into confidence common kashmiri people-whether Hindus or Muslims!
India says It is secular! But the question is whether India is really secular?
I have earlier written in my blogs about the double standards of Indian Democracy. It is believed that Muslims constitute about 14% of the total population of India which means there are around 14-15 crore Muslims in India. Like kashmiri pundits Indian Muslims are also victims of democratic set up of India. Majority of Muslims feel alienated from India because of the drawback of democratic set up of India. Like Kashmiri Hindus It matters very little whether they vote or not not. And since they don’t form majority vote bank of any party, they get neglected. It is a high time when constitution and Judiciary system of India get updated. True democracy is where each and every citizen of India should have equal say in representing Member of parliament, Ministers, Prime minister and President.
From 60 years there has been very little amendment in constitution and judiciary system of India. Caste based politics is very harmful for the harmony among different castes and even states. Reservation based on caste is even more harmful. There should be reservation for economically weaker section but the criteria should not be caste based rather it should start from poorest of poor. But the present democratic system cannot allow this because of vote bank politics.
Poorest of poor in India don’t come under any vote bank. This section of society is illiterate and they struggle for the very basic needs like food and shelter. Every now and then I read in Newspapers India is shining! Rich are getting richer and poor are getting from bad to worse. but who cares! Middle class is also silently suffering. The boom in real estate is only for builders and estate promoters. Some 5-6 years back housing was in reach of middle class. One could think of buying land in Metros and cities and construct a house. But today it is impossible. India is not shining it is disintegrating. Division between rich and poor is getting wider and wider.
The basic needs of food and shelter have become more difficult and the present govt and India is Shining. India is shining only for politicians and economically higher class.
The primary teachings of all the religions are more or less same. Every Religion teaches love, harmony, peace, Kindness, non-voilence discipline and self control. But in present India and world religion is mixed with politics and the basic meaning has been deformed. Religion has not even spared even animals. A dog in Christian gets a Christian name, In a Muslim household gets a Muslim name and in Hindus he become Hindu and he is even applied tilk on forehead. nature is same for all and nature has same laws for everyone. Bodily functions of all humans irrespective of their religion, caste and race are same. The feelings are also same .Mother-child love is same for every religion, caste and race. Blood is red for every human being. Everything is same essentially. Nature does not favor or disfavor anyone. But everything changes for all when religion comes into picture.
Every religion says about heaven and hell, Swarg and nark, Jannat and jahanum ….basically different terminology for same thing i.eAfter death worlds! Muslim will go to jannat after death, Hindu will go to swarg and Christian will go to heaven. What will happen if a Christian accidentally goes to jannat after death? He will definitely feel a misfit. Similarly when a Muslim dies and accidentally he reaches heaven he will also feel misfit primarily because he does not know English!
Nature does not discriminate but religions do. If we speak to a priest, A moulvi or a Pundit one will definitely come to conclusion that there is a war between Allah, god and Bhagwan.Every one wants more and more devotees. But the question is what for? Different names such as Allah, god and bhagwan are same but names are different, but the basic element is same. Writing above lines has only one motto-We are all same irrespective of our nationalities, religions, caste and race. Same laws apply to kashmiris also but again religion has divided them. Kashmir belongs to kashmiris whether Hindus or Muslims .But who will come forward to bridge the gap between the two communities as there is no communication between these two. We have same ancestors if we go back to may be eight hundred years. But see the present scenario! We hardly know each other. We look towards each other with suspicion. We don’t trust each other! Who is responsible for all this? Is it Religion or politics? Is it India or Pakistan or is it you and me-------common kashmiris?

kashmir blogs

Kashmiri pundit-who cares!!!
India is the largest democratic country in the world with population of over 1 billion.
It is believed that in a democratic set up Representatives are chosen by the people and for the people. That also means larger the population of any community whether Marathis,Punjabis,Gujratis,Tamils or Bengalis larger is the corresponding number of MLA’s and M.P’s.But lately It has been caste based politics in India where the leaders try to convince the public in the name of religion or caste or even sub-castes like Hindu-Muslim and Yadavs,Jats, dalits etc. This is only creating rift among the different castes in Hindus. Everyday people are killed in the name of religion and casteism in India. If this is democracy then Democracy is not good for India. Democracy is disintegrating India. In the recent past Naxalites, Maoists have killed thousands and it is only growing day by day.
India is already facing problems in the north east and Kashmir. In north east and Kashmir It is the different religions which are creating problems and in Assam It is the mixture of ethnic communism which is creating problem. India has not been able to solve the problem of north east and Kashmir because of loopholes in Indian democracy.
There was no need to impose article 370 in Kashmir and If India really wants to solve the problem of Kashmir It should withdraw article 370.Minority vote politics is the biggest hurdle in abolishing article 370.I am writing this because I am victim of both Indian democracy and article 370.
Kashmiri pundit was the only voice which was in favor of India when we were there in Kashmir before 1990.We laid down our lives for India and we got shame and humiliation in return from both state governments and govt. of India. Population of 4lakh Kashmir pundits does not have a voice which can be heard in lok sabha or rajya sabha. No body bothers about us because we don’t form vote bank of any political party. Democratic system has given one lesson to us- “kashmiri pundits are not wanted in India”.
Don’t think Pro-hindutwa political parties especially BJP has done anything for us.
When Bjp was in power they did nothing for Kashmiri pundits, although they frequently used our names in front of major crowds just to get that extra political mileage.
Before 1990 things were different. We were in Kashmir and we used to think that govt. of India cares for us. But that proved to be a big joke. Respective state governments whether it was National conference or congress or Pdp no one really wants us in J&k.This can be proved by the number of jobs given to kashmiri pundits after 1990.Kashmiri pundits form 25% of educated class in J&k but the number of jobs given to kashmiri pundits
Is not even 1%.Which clearly indicates that state govt. does not want us to be there!
Govt. at center is not bothered about us and state govt. does not want us to be there. We have been uprooted from our homes and although we have managed to survive so far but the big question remains “We laid our lives for India and we got nothing from India?”
My question remains why?????????????
